COCKROACH TREATMENT
The most common cockroach we encounter here in Georgia is the American cockroach - sometimes call a 'Palmetto Bug.'
Trademark uses a professional-grade insecticide to effectively control cockroaches. Skilled technicians find their daytime shelters and carefully treat these areas. We take care to treat the cracks and crevices where cockroaches spend most of their time. Insecticides generally provide only temporary control within structures. Since some cockroach species invade homes and buildings from outside, they may re-infest dwellings once the insecticide dissipates. To solve this problem, outdoor populations must also be controlled. In certain situations cockroach baits can be used around the outsides of buildings.
Trademark evaluates each infestation to determine an effective treatment and elimination plan.
The pesticides we use vary in formulation, method of delivery, biological activity, residual longevity and other characteristics. They also vary in their toxicity to the target organism and to humans and animals. We are very familiar with the product - especially with its relative toxicity.
The type of chemical selected and the application method used depend on the location and nature of the infestation. No one chemical handles all cockroach problems, but a combination of the various types is very effective.

ANT TREATMENT
Ants are pests because they feed and contaminate food, infest our homes and businesses. In the summer you've seen plenty of their red mounds in lawns throughout our area.
Some ants - such as the VERY COMMON fire ant - can inflict painful bites or stings. Although ants don't eat or attack fabrics, wood or leather in our homes, some do establish nests in decaying structures such as firewood stacks or other woodpiles around the home.
Because ants are social insects, they establish, live and work together in large colonies. Queens, workers and males make up the 'castes' that make up the colony. The primary function of the queen is to lay eggs. Usually there is only one queen in a colony but, in other species, more than one queen may exist. The males mate with the queen thereby enabling the colony to grow and sustain itself.
Interestingly, new colonies are created in two ways. The first occurs when male and female reproductive ants leave the nest and establish a colony. Their first brood of workers then disperses to bring food back to the nest.
Workers foraging for food and water are one of the reasons ants find their way into your home.
Our approach is to first identify the species of ant. This will dictate the method by which we treat - and eliminate - the colony. Finding the location of the nest is the next step since this is where the ant population resides.
Chemical control of ants can be applied as barrier treatments, drench treatments, direct application to nests or bait treatments.
